Tinicum Art and Science is the only high school in America that is rooted in mindfulness practice. As such we do not get caught up in the hyper-competitive, test and results oriented culture of most schools today. Instead we offer a gentle education, a deep education that finds its expression in our community. Our kids are very well looked after. Every one of them.

SCHOOL IS CLOSED THURSDAY JANUARY 27

Sullivan Burd

Sadly, as rich in life as our small school has been, death must also be there too, like a shadow at noon. A former student, Sullivan Burd, known well for his gentleness and intelligence and loved by many, has died. He was not yet 20.

All life is a blessing.
